Dr. Data
About Me.
Hey guys! My name is Andre Proctor, but here you can call me Dr. Data.

I am currently a student at American University in Washington, D.C., pursuing a Master's degree in Sports Analytics & Management. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Before you ask...Yes, I know neither of those degrees qualifies me to be a doctor. But, hey, it's the internet, and it sounded kinda cool *insert shrug emoji*. If John Cena and Dr. Pepper can be doctors, so can I.

My life is driven by making sure that I do what I love. I have always loved three things; comedy, sports, and math. What better career to go into than Sports Data Analysis?! I find joy in using data to answer questions within the sports industry. I will utilize this site to post any projects I complete while showing my personality at the same time.

When it is all said and done I would like to do performance analytics for a major sports team or league. My undoubted passions, however, are basketball and football. I don't know what I would do if I got to work for an NBA team.
